Welcome to 4A!
This year our school-wide theme is "Explore! Experience! Evaluate!" which is inspired by Psalm 34:8. As a class we will be exploring this theme in addition to our Grade 4 storyline: "Impact."
Throughout our lessons and class discussions, we will talk about how we can impact this world for Jesus. Discovering ways and considering how our words, thoughts and actions have an impact on ourselves and those around us.
John 15:12 says "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." This verse is our starting point. We will be exploring practical ways to show the love of Christ to others. With the focus on making an "IMPACT" for Jesus in the world around us.
About Mrs. Lindenschmidt:
I am very excited to be back in the 4A classroom! I am so thankful to God for the opportunity to teach your child this year! I look forward to what God has planned for our class!
I am married to my husband Richard and we have two daughters. Alyssa is in grade 7 and Rayna is in grade 5. When I am not teaching, you can find me spending time with my family, reading, golfing or taking my pup for walks.
About Mrs. Wolynec:
I've taught at both CCS and CCC in various roles but for the past several years, my time has been split between the library, 2B homeroom and K-2 PE. This year I am excited to swap my library duties for 4A unit studies and see all the familiar faces from 2 years ago and meet a few new ones! I feel very blessed to be a part of the amazing learning community at Calvin and look forward to another year of learning and growing together.
I have 2 young boys, Arthur and Charlie, who are busy and silly and sweet. My husband and I also have a dear old chihuahua named Zoe, who rides in the trunk of the bike trailer when we go on family rides. I enjoy playing overly-complicated board games, doing jigsaws puzzles, and solving escape rooms.
